Karen DeClerk, MA, LPC - Psychotherapist 303.449.4751 kdeclerk@aol.com
Welcome.  If we were sitting across from each other, I'd offer you a cup of tea...

I'd ask, "How can I help you today?"

And then I'd listen, to you, to all parts of you that need to be heard, seen and acknowledged.

While it may not seem possible, our suffering does have value as it leads to  our parts that have information about what the soul needs and desires, to heal, grow and live more fully.  We are all made up of various parts: some we like, some we dislike and some we are not even aware of.  Others may be taking over and severly limiting our lives.  When we get to know these parts in a compassionate and honoring fashion, they have an opportunity to shift and transform, giving us gifts we never expected.

There are times in all of our lives that we need extra support and assistance, whether it is in dealing with a specific issue, finding relief from emotional pain, or exploring how to live in a more meaningful manner.  Seeking that assistance through psychotherapy can be a  wise and pragmatic choice.
